As a California native and a resident of Georgia for 20 years, it’s heartbreaking to witness the devastation that has unfolded in my hometown. I travel back home every other month, and I had just returned from a trip when the wildfires began wreaking havoc. No one could have prepared for how quickly lives can change, and it serves as a stark reminder of the unpredictability of life.
This brings me to 2025, which I believe will be the year of the Shift, the year of the Pivot. Reflecting on my career journey, I didn’t fully realize how my experiences would shape my ability to adapt. I began working on a trading floor, dealing with high-yield bonds—a high stress environment that demanded quick, financial life-changing decisions at a moment’s notice. From there, I transitioned to becoming a Junior Agent at a Top Entertainment Booking firm, where the fast-paced, high-pressured atmosphere pushed me to stay sharp and make decisions under pressure. Later, my career took another turn when I moved to Georgia and became a Delta Air Lines Flight Attendant, where pivoting and adjusting to new situations on the fly were a constant. Each of these roles has shaped me, teaching me how to thrive in environments where change is the only constant. These experiences have reinforced my ability to pivot, adapt, and stay resilient in the face of uncertainty—skills that are more crucial than ever as we approach 2025.
As we look ahead, adapting to change will be more important than ever, especially as climate change and political shifts continue to reshape the world around us. The key to thriving in these times will be our ability to adjust, adapt, and maintain a positive mindset—no matter the circumstances.
Through it all, I’ve learned to trust God with every step of my journey. Even in the most uncertain times, He has never failed me, and that trust continues to guide me. I trust Him with my decision-making in this ever-evolving world, and that same trust flows into the leadership I provide for my agents. As we move into 2025, I know that with His guidance, we will navigate these changes with resilience, strength, and faith.
